Tri-Motor

Manufactured in 1896 by Western Wheel Works (also known as the American bicycle Company) in Chicago, Illinios (USA)  the Tri-Motor Crescent was produced to enter the motorised market.  The two seater vehicle with tiller steering featured an engine mounted above the front wheel that drove the wheel via a chain.  However, by 1901 production of the 3-wheeler ceased and the company concentrated on just bicycles which also had the Crescent name.
