Adler

Adler originally starting as bicycle manufacturers in Frankfurt-am-Main (Germany) when in 1886 they produced a number of experimental 3-wheelers before switching to a 4-wheeler in 1900.  In around 1930 the company manufactured the Ganz designed Adler Maybug. Production ceased in approximately 1936.

Note: Its worth noting that in the 1880’s, Adler used to supply wheels to the Benz Company for their 3-wheeler.

The 1930 Adler Maybug. (My thanks to Richard Seibert for sending in this photo.)
