Tri-Magnum

This Tri-Magnum was built by Donald Kohlmeyer in the USA.  It is powered by a 1988 Kawasaki Voyager 1200cc water-cooled engine that powers the rear wheel via a shaft drive giving a top speed of 125mph.

The body of the Tri-Magnum is made from plywood and urethane foam that is then covered with fibreglass, gel coated and then painted. The front chassis section of the vehicle is a VW Beetle axle that is then attached to a hand built frame. Inside the vehicle is a dual seat that is moulded into the body design, access to the seats is via a lift up canopy that has detachable side windows.
