The Reselco Solocar was first introduced in 1935. Built from gauge steel the Solocar was designed for disabled drivers. It was powered by a 36 volt electric engine that drove directly onto the transaxle at the rear of the car giving the vehicle a maximum speed of 12 mph. The engine was accessible through a boot at the rear. The Solocar featured tiller steering, hand brake, horn and lights as well as full sized car brakes. The car was produced up until the 1960’s.
