My thanks go to Ron & Linda for these photos of their 3-wheeler project. Ron & Linda write: ... Here are a couple pictures of my latest 3-wheeler, powered by a Honda Goldwing. The new three-wheeler started life as a Stinson 10A airplane. Someone had modified the fuselage to make an amphibian out of it. I took the front section of the tubular frame, covered it with ceconite, which is what is used to cover fabric airplanes. I put a VW front end underneath it for the front end steering and wheels. I welded a square tubing frame to
the back and added a Honda Goldwing 1100 for the power. It is a two passenger vehicle. |
