May 2008 - 2008 Michelin Challenge DesignTM NAIAS Showcase.

The Michelin Challenge Design is a chance for individuals to design vehicle design concepts that hope to become “America’s Next Iconic Vehicle”. Each year renderings are designed in a bid each having a unique quality.

One of the entrants for the 2008 was the 3-wheeled “Space Efficient Vehicle” (SEV).

Designed by Ralph Panhuyzen and Steven van der Veen in the Netherlands. Designed as a small vehicle for singles, couples and one-child families the SEV offers 360 degree visibility and would return 75 - 110 mpg with a conventional small engine.
