ZAPDescriptionFounded in 1994 (California, USA) the ZAP (Zero Air Pollution) began by producing electric bicycles and scooters as an alternative means of transport other than fossil-fueled powered vehicles. In 2003 the company introduced its first electric automobiles and in 2006 introduced the 3-wheeled ZAP Xebra. Powered by an electric motor the four-seater vehicle is able to reach 40mph with a range of 40miles.
