Designed and built by automotive designer Brad Bonning in Queesland (Australia) in 2007, the Bonnington Roadster was developed from a pedal-powered car that Bonning had produced for driver training. The main concept behind its development is to create a vehicle that not only consumes petrol but also alternative fuels like hydrogen and methanol derived from household waste.

Designed and built by automotive designer Brad Bonning in Queesland (Australia) in 2007, the Bonnington Roadster was developed from a pedal-powered car that Bonning had produced for driver training. The main concept behind its development is to create a vehicle that not only consumes petrol but also alternative fuels like hydrogen and methanol derived from household waste.

The Bonnington is a 2 seater and is constructed from aluminium giving the car a total weight of just 400kg.  Powered a motorcycle derived engine it is said to have phenomenal acceleration and a top speed of approximately 125mph (200km/h).

The current vehicle is a one off working prototype.
