Gamma

The Gamma “2 Place” Roadster was first manufactured in the 1980’s by Vintage Reproductions Incorporated (VRI), Florida. (USA). Founded on 23rd May 1972 the company primarily engaged in the manufacture and sale of Horse less carriage type vehicles modelled after those of the early 1900’s. Along side the carriages VRI spent one and a half years researching, developing and creating a prototype of the Gamma Roadster at a cost of  $120,000. The Gamma is a 3-wheeler that incorporates a complete motorcycle for the power train.  This is hidden under the rear of the body and is readily accessible as the rear of the body lifts up. The body is a fibre glass shell attached to a Tubular steel main frame and also included as standard a full fold away top and side curtains.  Standard power comes from a 750cc Honda engine or an optional 1,000cc water cooled shaft driven Honda engine that is combined with VW parts that include steering, brake and suspension system.  Production is thought to have ceased in the late 1980’s.
