Novel book on Reliant Regal

Author and motor enthusiast Elvis Payne brought his distinctive car into the heart of Tamworth Market at the weekend for the launch of his new book, How to Restore Reliant Regal.

The book is based on his own experience of restoring a model built in Tamworth in 1972. Although not as famous as the Robin, the Regal is well-known as the vehicle of choice for the Trotters in Only Fools and Horses.  During the book launch, Elvis signed copies at Tamworth Information Centre.
