thanks go to Richard James for this photo of his grandparents. The photo was badly creased with sections torn off it and so I have replaced those and removed the scratches. Richard writes: Do you happen to know what the vehicle in the attached pictured is? The people are my grandmother and grandfather who used to be a master millwright and mechanical engineer. He was born in 1883 so I would think that
the photograph was taken around 1910. I think 1910 is about right as this type of "forecar" was very popular at that time. |
