Reliant Motor Company.

Reliant Robin 65.

Introduced in September 2000 the Reliant Robin 65 was the last of the Reliant 3-wheelers made by Reliant.  Following Reliant's announcement to stop producing 3-wheelers the Robin 65 range was a Special Edition model to mark 65 years of 3-wheeler production.

Only 65 Robin 65's were made and each features a numbered plaque with the original owners name on the dashboard. All 65's were painted in a gold metallic paint and featured alloy wheels, Reliant's own 850cc alloy engine with a stainless steel exhaust, and a whole host of internal additions that included leather trim, walnut dashboard, a central glove box in between the front seats and a high performance sound system.

The final Robin 65 was issued to its owner on February 14th 2001 after being won in a prize by The Sun Newspaper.

The Robin 65's were all sold within weeks of their announcement and cost around £10,000 each. As each 65 was completed its new owner was invited to the Reliant premises to pick up the vehicle and tour the factory to meet the people who had built the car.
