My thanks go to Stuart Bates for these photos. Stuart writes: I am doing my A-Levels this year and have decided to make a car for children (aged from 6 to 11) for my major technology project. I thought you might be interested in the final outcome. The vehicle was based on an Aprilia SR125 scooter rear end attached to a Go-Kart frame. The frame of the vehicle was made from tubular mild steel. The panels are aluminium sheet. I hope to be able to get it road worthy in the near future. Although it is
designed for children, I can just about fit into it (I'm 6ft2). The registration number in the photographs (attached) was just put on for photographs for my technology folder. |
