Description

The Trident prototypes were first built in France but in August 1919 it was announced that the Trident would be manufactured in England. Production in the UK is thought to have never started with planned models of a one passenger taxi-cab and delivery van. The Trident was powered by an 8hp 2-cylinder engine that was mounted on, and driving, the single front wheel.   The engine was mounted on the near side whilst the gearbox, clutch and magneto were mounted on the off side. The vehicle was a two-seater that sat two people in tandem with a steel body that was suspended by four laterally mounted and interconnected cantilever springs. Production ceased in 1920.
