The 1898 Beeston MotetteDescriptionIntroduced in 1896 the Beeston tricycle was manufactured by Beeston cycle works in Nottingham (UK). Powered by a 400cc engine the Beeston tricycle was the only motorcycle / tricycle to make it from London to Brighton in the 1896 Emancipation Day Run to celebrate the raising of the speed limit to 12mph.
