The Repton was built in 1904 by the Repton Engineering Works, Repton, Derbyshire. (UK). The vehicle was a very small single seater that was powered by a 4hp water-cooled engine. This was attached to a 2-speed epicyclic gearbox in which top gear was direct.  As a result a maximum speed of 25mph was possible.
