Lincon 22DescriptionLincon 22 3 wheel mower made by Kee Manufacturing Co. Flecha Kee invented the Kee mower in 1948 in Samoset FL. He started making them in his garage. Mr. Kee made his own mower to cut his grass and neighbors liked the mower a lot so Mr. Kee stopped working on cars and started to build mowers. Mr. Kee made the mowers until 1972.Kee Manufacturing Company started in Samoset, Florida Here is a nice YouTube video on the history of Kee mowers A Predator 212 motor is a good replacement for the original motor. You can get one from Harbor Freight. The very early Kee mowers had a plywood deck. The first Kees were made by Kee's Garage and the the name was changed to Key Manufacturing Co. 1972, Mr. Kee sold out to a David Bussell who partnered with the Desere family from Florida. In 1986, the David Bussell and the Desere family sold out to TrailMate from Saratoga FL. TrailMate also purchased the Sunshine Mower Company and the Kee mower was changed to be more like the Sunshine mower. in 2004, TrailMate sold the mower to Hufco and the manufacturing was moved to Richmond Indiana. Hufco eventually sold out to Ariens. Ariens produced the MTD and Yard-Man. Erins did not purchase the Kee name. Ariens started making the mower under the Gravely name. Detailed Information
