Description

Iso SpA was founded in Milan (Italy) and maunfactured moto scooters when in 1953 they produced a commercial 3-wheeler that went through many forms.  The main vehilcle was a two seater with a number of bodies.  The vehicle was also built under licence in Spain and called the Isocarro. Using the same sort of theme, the Isocarro was again a two seater powered by a 150cc engine.

Iso SpA was founded in Milan (Italy) and maunfactured moto scooters when in 1953 they produced a commercial 3-wheeler that went through many forms.  The main vehilcle was a two seater with a number of bodies.  The vehicle was also built under licence in Spain and called the Isocarro. Using the same sort of theme, the Isocarro was again a two seater powered by a 150cc engine.

Iso also built the Iso Isetta bubbe car that was powered by a 2 stroke 2 cylinder 236cc engine.  The vehicles however did not sell well an so Iso sold both the design and manufacturing rights to BMW. Iso / Isocarro ceased producing 3-wheelers in 1966.
