IC Modulo M89

IC Modulo M89

Description

IC Modulo M89

Is a three-wheel motorcycle, designed and built by ex Alfa Romeo engineer Carlo Lamattina between 1988-95 by his company Italian Cars in Italy.
Built based upon a steel chassis with glass/carbon fibre bodywork providing tandem seating for two and powered by a BMW DOHC 3-cyl 740 cc (75hp) four-stroke engine with a 5-speed manual transmission, driving a single rear wheel.

The bodywork was available with open and enclosed cockpit, with or without engine and options for 4-cy (100hp) 1100cc BMW / Moto-Guzzi.
The vehicle is perhaps most famous for the fact that after Nigel Mansel qualified on pole position for the 1992 Italian GP, he was presented with one by Carlo Lamattina.
