Harley Davidson Half Track based on a Japanese built Harley Davidson.

The 2 rear wheels were capable of running a track like you would find on a tank or other tracked vehicle. Of of numerous inline three wheelers in this database.

It appears that several different bikes were used to built this. The front end is from a J-series, either 1928 or 1929, since it has a front brake. The power plant is from a later V-series, probably early 1930s. An additional lever has been added to the right side, but it is unclear whether it is a modified gear shift or something else. Frame modifications have made it necessary to mount a custom seat for the driver and the exhaust has been extended as well.
