Gilcolt

The 1972 Gilcolt. (My thanks go to Thomas Touw for sending in this photo)

Gilcolt

Description

The Gilcolt was created in 1972 in Streatham (UK) by a Reliant dealer called Ricketts.  The vehicle was based on a Reliant Regal chassis and running gear, and it had a fibreglass body that was enhanced by gull wing doors either side.  The Gilcolt was sold in both kit form and as a complete car though production numbers are believed to be very limited.
