Franks KTM250

Franks KTM250

Description

1982 FRANKS KTM250 trike.

Built by the legendary Aussie Kelvin Franks. Kelvin Franks was from Australia and the co-founder of the Motocross club known as the CMC which was out of So Cal and started in the late 60’s. Running the first Moto Cross race held in the USA at the time (1966) at Pepperall, Mass., he also built ATC 3-wheelers and Motocross bikes with very advanced ideas. Most very ahead of their time.

Franks built loads of trick parts for racers in the 80s, including swing arms and triple clamps. He would eventually go on to build ten individual bikes for customers, with no two bikes built the same way. This means that every three-wheeler can be considered a one-off.
