FalconDescriptionThe Falcon LX3 was first built in 1986 by Peter Bird of Falcon Design (GB) and was available as a kit or as a set of plans. The vehicle was a Lotus look alike and used the floorpan of a Citroen 2CV along with its 602cc engine. The suspension is also 2CV with stubs of both rear swinging arms joined by a beam with one arm repositioned on it to place the wheel in the centre. Unlike the Lomax, it retains the original heater. The body tub is plywood with a GRP bonnet, wings and boot. A number of Falcon’s have stainless steel or aluminium panels attached over the plywood. It is believed that around 200 vehicles were built.
