EECDescriptionThe EEC was built in Totnes, Devon (UK) in 1952. Formerly a boat building company during the second world war, EEC planned to build six prototypes though only one vehicle was ever constructed. Named after a BBC radio programme the EEC “Workers Playtime” model was constructed of an aluminium body attached to a steel framework. Inside the vehicle a single bench seat was said to seat three adults. Power came from a 250cc Excelsior twin cylinder 2-stroke motorcycle engine that drove the single rear wheel. The first vehicle was used by EEC but the project came to an end when the parts for the other five prototypes were destroyed in a fire in 1954. Detailed Information
