DS Malterre

The 1955 DS Malterre. (My thanks go to Tobias Baldus for this photo.)

DS Malterre

Description

Founded in France in 1922, DS Malterre manufactured motorcycles.  In 1955 they created their first 3-wheeler, a vehicle powered by a 125cc 2-cylinder Ydral engine that was located in the rear of the vehicle and drove the single rear wheel.  Only a few prototype vehicles were built before the project was dropped in 1958.
