Cony

The 1964 Cony AA27. (My thanks go to Kerry Croxton for sending in this picture.)

Cony

Description

Manufactured from 1946 in Nagoya, Japan, the Cony was built by Aichi Kokuki KK.  A number of 3-wheeled commercial vehicles were made with engines varying from a 359cc 2-cylinder engine in the lighter vehicles (like the Cony AA27 pictured) to a 1.5 litre water-cooled 4-cylinder engine in a 2 ton 3-wheeled truck.  In 1965 the company was absorbed into the Nissan group and ceased making 3-wheelers in 1966.
