Description

Built by Bassoon’s Industries in New York (USA) in 1956  the Basson Star was an open two seater vehicle with a fibreglass body that had a large carrying area at the rear. Powered by a single cylinder 2-stroke engine, the Bassoon star featured 12 volt electrics, independent rear wheel suspension, hydraulic brakes, disk wheels and an “airplane-type steering wheel”.

Built by Bassoon’s Industries in New York (USA) in 1956  the Basson Star was an open two seater vehicle with a fibreglass body that had a large carrying area at the rear. Powered by a single cylinder 2-stroke engine, the Bassoon star featured 12 volt electrics, independent rear wheel suspension, hydraulic brakes, disk wheels and an “airplane-type steering wheel”.

The vehicle pictured was the prototype model though at $999 very few production vehicles were actually built.
