Description

Manufactured from 1967 in Greece the Alta 700 was an all purpose 3-wheeler that had a number of bodies ranging from a pickup to a van.  Powered by a BMW 2 cylinder horizontal engine mounted at the rear, the Alta 700 is described as being one of the most successful 3-wheelers in Greece. It had a fibreglass cab that contained two seats and with its combination of rear bodies, boasted a payload of up to 800kg. In 1970 the a passenger vehicle under the name of Alta was also produced under license from Fuldamobil. This was also a 2 seater powered by a 198cc Sachs engine.  Alta also produced some BMW 700s under license in the 1980s.
