1962 Polaris Air-Sled

1962 Polaris Air-Sled

Description

1962 Polaris Air-Sled

While not a true "3-wheeler", I decided to list this here since it is in the trike format. Plus it is a cool vehicle.

These were built in Crosby Minnesota. One online resource states that only 35 were made (only 25 were made for Polaris to market/sell) and that there are only 4 left in existence. They were also sold under the name Trail-A-Sled. Trail-A-Sled was founded in 1959 in Crosby Minnesota.

They were powered by a 125 HP Lycoming O-290-G engine. The Air-Sled was capable of reaching speed up to 100 MPH.
