1944 Zündapp KS 750Description1944 Zündapp KS 750In the late 1930s, the Nuremberg located Zündapp Werke GmbH developed the KS 750 motorcycle. It was designed for off-road use and was used for reconnaissance, transport of personnel and supplies, as well as casualty evacuation. During the WW2 Zundapp KS 750 had been painted in two schemes: for European countries it was produced in dark gray and for North Africa in dark yellow. Zündapp KS 750 is powered by a 751 ccm 4-stroke twin-cylinder boxer engine with 26 hp at 4000 rpm rating. The ignition is designed with a magneto. Thanks to good waterproof and an air filter located at the top of the engine, the motorcycle is able to overcome shallow water obstacles with the engine partly submerged in water. Motorcycle with a sidecar weighs a substantial 420 kg, but it is easy to handle and reliable while operation. On the both sides of the sidecar body ammunition bags are mounted while the front part is adapted for a machine gun. From 1940 to 1944 Zündapp Werke, GmbH produced 18,635 motorcycles model KS 750.
