Myers Motors

Myers Motors was formed in August 2004 by Dana S. Myers (Ohio, USA) after acquiring seventy partly built 3-wheeler vehicles from the closure of Corbin Motors.  Initially a number of obstacles presented them self in building the vehicles with wiring and fusing problems, DC/DC conversion issues, braking issues, swing arm issues and alignment issues to name but a few.  With the expert help of Robert Q. Riley as full time Chief Engineer all of these issues have been addressed and fixed.  So much so that the first vehicles were referred to as MM 1.0 but due to the amount of changes have been renamed MM NmG.

The NmG is an all electric fully enclosed, single passenger vehicle. It has thirteen sealed batteries that power a 156 volt DC motor. The vehicle has an approximate range of 20  - 40 miles and is governed to a maximum speed of 70 mph.  This is assisted by is spherical body design of a layered composite construction that gives the vehicle an overall weight of 1,350lbs. (The total battery weight is 598lbs).

In October 2005 the company announced that it is to start delivery of the MM NmG at a rate of four per month from the stock of thirty six vehicles. It also stated that:

The MM NmG is a vehicle that will be the official beginning of the transformation of gasoline powered/assisted transportation to the transportation vehicle of the future .. the all-electric, 200 mile, 4 passenger, domestic or solar energy content only, car. In 2010 the Duo was launched, a two seater electric vehicle.
